SR Exothermic powder is used to increase the efficiency of the riser, inducing directional solidification in short ranges freezing alloys & avoiding shrinkage. The heavier sections of castings with uneven thicknesses are usually fed with the use of feeders or risers and its nature of solidification i.e. whether it is a short freezing alloy or a long freezing one. It is also brown coloured powder. It is a carbon free suitable for use in alloy steels such as stainless steel and very low carbon steels. It is highly exothermic and its reaction is such more vigorous which makes its ideal for small risers and feeders and in situation where a fast exothermic reaction is of primary.

SR SEAL- Is a sealing compound used to stick the hot top to the mould and to ensure the molten steel does not leak out and the hot top is sealed in place during the solidification process of the ingot SR CORE FIX – is a compound used for the same purpose in exothermic sleeves.

SR Teeming Compound- It is a powder coating that is used in casting units following a bottom pouring method for casting.
